After homesteading in NS for more than 15 years, the west coast mountains and people were calling us back. We plan to set up homesteading 2.0 albeit a much more scaled back version, in the Slocan Valley....mountains, lakes, rivers, rail trail for human powered activities, minimal to no zoning, greater affordability than other coveted areas in BC, Nelson & Castlegar for shopping needs. And we have found our dream property but we need others to join us to share this amazing place. We have a range of practical homesteading skills as well as various engagements with the non-profit world and government agencies. We are very progressive politically. We are keenly aware of the issues facing the planet & humanity, thus we are striving to create resiliency with others.
